Qianxun Chen is a media artist, educator and researcher. Her works often bring up the non-human perspectives of language and the poetics of the non-human through alternative uses of technology. She has published numerous digital projects online, focusing on generative poetics, the aesthetics of algorithms, and digital textuality. Her installation works foster care and sensitivity through sound, visuals, and interactive elements, creating spaces for contemplation and connection.

She holds an MFA in Literary Arts from Brown University and an MA in Digital Media from the University of the Arts Bremen. She currently teaches in the Digital Media program at Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
